Responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating activities of contractors and drivers
  • Overseeing the flow of inbound and outbound freight
  • Planning and executing delivery routes for drivers
  • Maintaining effective communication with terminal operations staff to foster strong connections between terminal and corporate functions
  • Managing internal operational protocols
  • Handling multiple calls concurrently from both internal and external clients
  • Taking ownership of all communications regarding changes affecting internal and external stakeholders
  • Generating various reports on production, quality, punctuality, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the customer and/or Terminal Manager
