Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor - Prelicensure Nursing to join our team at Western Governors University. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals by providing high-quality education and training in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum for prelicensure nursing students
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a clinical setting
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency in curriculum and instruction
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education
Requirements
  • MSN degree and current, unencumbered license
  • Two years of relevant professional experience
  • Terminal degree and all applicable licenses or certifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate, or terminal degree in a specific content area
  • Strong experience with distance education and distance learning students
