Overview of the Business Leadership Program Internship:

The Business Leadership Program Summer Internship at Synchrony is a paid 10-week opportunity across various operational tracks. Throughout the internship, each participant will engage in significant project work that contributes to our organizational goals, encouraging innovation and fresh perspectives. Interns will experience a comprehensive Synchrony orientation in the first week, participate in networking events with business leaders, and receive continuous support from dedicated teams and mentors committed to their professional growth.

Operations Internship Experience: Key Accomplishments

This internship is tailored for students eager to launch their careers in Operations, collaborating closely with industry experts to acquire essential hands-on experience. Interns will gain insights into several critical business domains, including Servicing, Collections, Recovery, Fraud Prevention, Security, Analytics, Surveillance, Customer Solutions, Technology, and Operational Governance.

As an Operations Intern, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer experiences through assessments, performance analysis, technology implementations, and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Enhance analytical capabilities by creating strategic operational plans, workforce management strategies, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
  • Refine project management, process optimization, and team collaboration skills.
  • Work alongside peers in Technology on various initiatives and projects.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Logistics, Marketing).
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Availability for a full-time commitment during the internship period.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • Willingness to relocate as needed for the program.
