The Business Leadership Program Summer Internship at Synchrony offers a 10-week paid opportunity across various operational tracks. Throughout the internship, each participant will engage in meaningful project work that contributes to our organizational goals, while also bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table. Interns will experience the full Synchrony culture, starting with an immersive orientation in the first week, followed by networking opportunities with business leaders and continuous support from dedicated teams and mentors invested in their professional growth.
Operations Internship Experience: Key Achievements
This internship is tailored for students eager to launch their careers in Operations, collaborating closely with industry experts to acquire essential hands-on experience. Interns will gain insights into critical business functions including Servicing, Collections, Recovery, Fraud, Security, Analytics, Surveillance, Customer Solutions, Technology, and Operational Governance.
As an Operations Intern, you will:
- Acquire valuable insights into customer experiences through assessments, performance analysis, technology implementations, and process enhancement initiatives.
- Enhance analytical capabilities by developing strategic operational frameworks, workforce planning strategies, and cost-benefit evaluations.
- Refine project management, process optimization, and team collaboration skills.
- Engage with technology peers on various initiatives and projects.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Logistics, Marketing).
- Strong academic performance with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Availability for a full-time commitment during the internship period.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
- Must meet the requirements outlined in Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- Willingness to relocate as necessary based on program or business needs.
