Role Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will operate within a dynamic, high-volume inbound call center dedicated to assisting customers with inquiries related to state-funded programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to customers regarding account management, billing inquiries, violations, and toll-related questions.
  2. Investigate and resolve customer issues in alignment with the state-funded program guidelines.
  3. Share information on various topics related to state-funded programs using training materials and online resources.
  4. Maintain call duration standards while ensuring quality and productivity benchmarks are met.
  5. Handle customer disputes and inquiries with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction.
  6. Execute necessary transactions, prepare outbound correspondence, and ensure proper documentation and handoffs.
  7. Meet or exceed established performance metrics for accuracy and productivity.
  8. Update customer accounts in strict compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service (retail or call center environment).

- Proficient in general computer and internet skills.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Schedule:

Training will occur Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Flexibility to work extended hours during the week and on weekends is required.
