Job Summary:

Retro Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Gym Closer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing membership sales and retention, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for all members and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Checking In Members: Greet and check in members as they arrive at the facility, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Membership Sales and Retention: Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting membership sales and retention initiatives, and providing exceptional customer service to drive member satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Resolve member issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that all members feel valued and supported.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure a safe and clean environment for all members and staff by performing regular facility checks and reporting any issues to management.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and securing the facility, and ensuring that all equipment and amenities are in working order.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, and provide support and assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Positive Attitude: Possess a positive and upbeat attitude, with a strong focus on customer service and member satisfaction.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with members, colleagues, and management.
  • Multi-Tasking: Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet sales and customer service goals.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrate a customer service-oriented approach, with a focus on meeting and exceeding member expectations.
  • Punctuality and Responsibility: Possess a strong sense of punctuality and responsibility, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
  • CPR/AED Training: Possess CPR/AED training, or be willing to obtain certification.
  • Sales Experience: Possess prior sales experience in a retail setting, or be willing to learn and develop sales skills.
  • Retro University Courses: Successfully complete all Retro University courses, as required.
