The iPhone Engineering Program Management team is seeking a proactive and resourceful Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to oversee program logistics, materials, finances, and security.

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of complex Bills of Materials and relevant documentation experience.

The EPS for Enclosure must excel in prioritizing challenges and meticulously tracking details, demonstrating strong organizational skills, and being a self-motivated individual prepared to collaborate with Engineering Project Management and cross-functional engineering teams to mitigate risks associated with each engineering program build.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with product designers (PD) and engineering project managers (EPM) to develop, structure, and release Bills of Materials (BOM) for development builds, encompassing part numbers, engineering change orders, and associated technical documentation.

  • Oversee material logistics with upstream and downstream vendors to guarantee timely material arrivals; maintain daily communication regarding changes to ensure transparency in material lead times, logistical readiness, and shipping plans for both international and local builds.
  • Manage PurchasetoPay processes, including the creation of purchase requisitions, tracking invoices, maintaining purchase order logs, and approving general receipts for minor components.
  • Collaborate with PD EPM to oversee small parts budgets and ensure budget accuracy.
  • Handle multiple projects concurrently while managing competing priorities.
  • International travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management related to budgeting, procurement, logistics, and supplier/contract manufacturer management.
- Willingness to travel internationally as necessary.
- Availability for off-hour support as required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with configuration management and experience in BOM structuring (preferably for hardware products).
- Experience with PLM tools.
- Ability to influence, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines with vendors (either contract manufacturers or part suppliers).
- Quick adaptability to new software and internal tools.
- Capacity to respond to resets and changes in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
- A blend of organizational, time/task management, and detail-oriented skills when managing multiple projects.
- Strong and effective communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to thrive in a large, dynamic cross-functional team environment and navigate ambiguous situations to drive resolution.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth and development within the role.

The base pay range for this position is between $112,900 and $234,700, with actual pay depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Eligible employees may receive discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
