About the Role:
The first three letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U. Thyssenkrupp Elevator is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Vice President of Quality.

This pivotal role, reporting directly to the CEO, will spearhead our quality assurance and quality control efforts across all facets of the organization, encompassing manufacturing, installation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for the Americas that aligns with Thyssenkrupp Elevator's business goals and customer needs.
2. Lead the quality management team, ensuring effective quality assurance and control across all operational areas.
3. Guarantee adherence to all pertinent industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO, EN, ANSI).
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate product quality, minimize defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and service teams to embed quality control measures throughout the product lifecycle.
6. Oversee supplier quality management, including conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with our quality benchmarks.
7. Direct root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality-related issues, ensuring that lessons learned lead to meaningful improvements.
8. Provide executive leadership with reports on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives.
9. Cultivate a quality-centric culture within the organization, offering training and development opportunities for employees at all levels.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within the elevator, escalator, or a related sector.
- Strong expertise in quality management systems (QMS), processes, and standards relevant to the elevator industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and nurture high-performing teams.
