Position Overview

As a Global Procurement Manager, you will collaborate with diverse teams to formulate and execute global procurement strategies for the Indirect Procurement Facilities/MRO categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee supplier procurement processes and negotiations aligned with business needs, optimizing the company's negotiation leverage.
  • Lead supplier contract negotiations and execution, working in conjunction with corporate legal to address specific risk-related terms and conditions.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance engagement and create a strong procurement project pipeline.
  • Ensure alignment for each procurement initiative and drive collaborative efforts with necessary cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Risk Management, HR, Compliance, Legal, Real Estate) to enhance transactional efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with key suppliers to comprehend their current services and additional capabilities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business and functional strategic roadmaps and the corresponding business requirements related to assigned categories.
  • Achieve cost reduction targets for the supply management organization; calculate and report savings.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements.
  • Assist in resolving key supplier issues and mitigating risks as necessary.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the marketplace, benchmarks, and industry best practices for assigned categories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited institution is required.
  • An advanced degree in business, finance, or legal is highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Significant experience in negotiations is essential.
  • Operational and procurement experience is necessary.
  • Prior experience in contracting (negotiation, implementation, management of agreements) is required.
  • Extensive project management experience and/or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Operational and/or procurement experience in most, if not all, of the assigned Indirect Corporate Services Categories is strongly preferred.
