Compensation: $20/hour, maximum of 40 hours per week

The Hub Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting progressive values and advocating for equity and justice in our communities. We collaborate with advocacy organizations to develop impactful campaigns aimed at fostering positive societal change.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Communications Intern focused on equity to join our team and assist in our mission to safeguard reproductive rights and freedoms. This position involves creating press materials, monitoring news coverage, and contributing to policy research efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and research skills, along with a commitment to social justice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation of press materials, including media advisories, press releases, and online content
  • Monitor news stories and identify engagement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain targeted media contact lists
  • Assist in policy research and simplify complex information for broader understanding

Candidate Profile:
