Job Opportunity

ACORE is seeking a Programs Intern to contribute to the advancement of renewable energy through education, collaboration, and supportive finance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, as well as a passion for renewable energy finance. The intern will report to the Program Manager and have the option to work remotely or in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on renewable energy finance, ESG investment, and renewable energy deployment trends.
  • Assist with the drafting of reports, blog posts, fact sheets, and other documents as necessary.
  • Attend ACORE conferences and webinars as appropriate.
  • Develop and present an independent research project under the mentorship of ACORE's programs team.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Availability of at least three days per week.
  • Demonstrated interest in renewable energy.
  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of projects and assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working as part of a team.
