Job Title: Customer Service Leader

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a Customer Service Leader to join our team. As a Customer Service Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and well-groomed personal appearance at all times.
  • Assign tasks to front-end and service desk/kiosk associates during idle periods.
  • Assist in special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervision.
  • Support and comply with all company safety standards.
  • Secure front-end change drawer at all times when leaving it unattended.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards.
  • Perform cashier and/or bagging functions.
  • Perform service desk/kiosk and bookkeeper functions.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service desk/kiosk.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Promote customer goodwill by providing high standards in customer service.
  • Maintain effective work schedules for front-end and service desk/kiosk associates.
  • Handle cash pickups and change orders as requested.
  • Verify all customer IDs presented and observe store policies.
  • Provide customers and associates with hassle-free refunds.
  • Supervise performance of all duties and responsibilities of all front-end and service desk/kiosk associates.
  • Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
