Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Wilcox Industries is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical components to build sub-assemblies and completed assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble electro-mechanical components using hand tools and presses, following written and verbal instructions.
- Work at various workstation processes and fill in where needed to ensure efficient production.
- Process documents, drawings, and work order traveler documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company rules and procedures, and performing regular safety checks and inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to train and assist in the assembly process, and assist in setting up jobs as needed.
- Manage work orders by properly disposing of non-conforming parts and following proper procedures to ensure safety and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work with measuring tools, fixtures, and hand tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers, pin-vices, arbor presses, and Allen drivers.
- Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with ESD and clean environment protocols, and safe handling of circuit boards and optics.
- Ability to spot imperfections and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Commitment to safety consciousness and ability to follow company safety policies and procedures.
