Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient and experienced Industrial Manufacturing CNC Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team. The selected candidate will be tasked with the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery to guarantee peak performance and minimal operational interruptions. This position demands a robust technical foundation, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to operate autonomously in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines and associated equipment to ensure dependable operation.
    • Keep precise records of maintenance tasks and machine performance metrics.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair:
    • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues on CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and other automated systems.
    • Repair or replace faulty components to restore machine functionality.
    • Work collaboratively with operators and production personnel to pinpoint and address machine-related challenges.
  • Calibration and Adjustment:
    • Calibrate and fine-tune CNC machines to uphold precision and accuracy in machining tasks.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety and performance standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
    • Notify the Maintenance Manager of any significant issues or recurring challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Spot opportunities for enhancing machine reliability and performance.
    • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and propose enhancements to maintenance protocols.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate protective equipment at all times.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations concerning equipment maintenance and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or a related field. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control systems of CNC machines.
    • Strong comprehension of CNC programming, schematics, and technical documentation.
    • Familiarity with various brands and models of CNC machinery.
  • Physical Stamina: Capability to perform manual tasks, including heavy lifting and extended periods of standing.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to execute precise work and ensure high-quality maintenance outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying and addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
  • Senior Technicians: $35+ per hour.
