Job Overview

Prolink is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including belt changes, gear box replacements, and other mechanical component repairs.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), relays, and contractors.
  • Control Systems Expertise: Work with Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc controls and systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Pneumatic System Knowledge: Understand and work with pneumatic systems, including air pressure, valves, and cylinders.
  • Automation Support: Assist with automation efforts and the integration of new technologies to improve production efficiency.
  • Conveyor System Maintenance: Maintain and repair conveyor belts and sprockets to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements and automation to enhance overall production quality.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with robotics, PLCs, and automation technologies.
  • System Knowledge: Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc systems.
  • Electrical Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, VFDs, relays, and contractors.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Experience with pneumatic systems and basic mechanical maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work the 3rd shift (PM Crew) and adapt to varying production demands.
  • Welding Skills: Basic welding skills or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Automation Knowledge: Understanding of automation challenges and solutions.
  • Welding and Conveyor Knowledge: Basic knowledge of welding and conveyor belt systems.
