Senior Account Executive

Technical Requirements:

  • Analyze quotes and coverage comparisons to ensure they meet client needs
  • Identify opportunities for personal and professional growth and development
Marketing & Negotiating:
  • Build and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters to secure competitive quotes
  • Stay informed about market trends and carrier appetites
  • Negotiate desirable outcomes by anticipating carrier perspectives
Risk Management Advisor Role:
  • Acquire comprehensive information to obtain competitive quotes
  • Present consultative proposals to clients
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and support staff
Personal Attributes:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex insurance concepts in simplified terms
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead by example and participate in the development of others
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in P&C Insurance
  • NY State Property & Casualty license and Insurance Designation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and expertise in Microsoft Office products

Alera Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more. Salary range is $150,000 to $225,000 per year, based on experience. Must reside or be able to commute to a NY office.
