Field Sales Executive


As a Field Sales Executive for commercial lines, you will have the chance to operate from your home office, visiting independent agencies to help develop and enhance their portfolio of business.

The ideal candidates will leverage their exceptional interpersonal abilities to influence agencies within their designated area to promote services and products, while also offering marketing strategies.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to seek out new agencies in your territory. We will support you in achieving these objectives by providing a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company card.

Territory:
Your responsibilities will cover various communities, including those in upstate New York. Candidates must be prepared to travel to and engage with all agencies within this geographic region. This position involves overnight travel (approximately 6 nights per month).

Home office location:
Candidates may work from various locations in upstate New York.

Must-have qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Marketing, Business Management) and three years of experience in outside business-to-business sales.
- Alternatively, five years of outside business-to-business sales experience or five years in the property and casualty sector.
- Compliance with driving standards and policies.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Preferred skills:
- Proven experience in outside business-to-business sales.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Capability to utilize both formal and informal networks to achieve objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:
$82,000 - $99,000/year
Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
