Position Overview:

The Administrative Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the leadership of the organization by managing complex administrative tasks and ensuring efficient office operations.

Compensation:

Min Hourly Rate($): 30.03

Max Hourly Rate($): 30.03

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in a similar role, such as a staff assistant to an agency head or in a large organization’s administrative services.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of public administration principles.
  • Proficient in modern office management practices.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present findings effectively.
  • Skilled in public speaking and delivering presentations.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist department heads by managing complex administrative responsibilities.
  • Analyze operational procedures and compile detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various divisions to implement approved operational changes.
  • Engage in public relations activities, including preparing press releases and addressing community groups.
  • Support budget preparation through administrative tasks and research.
  • Supervise administrative support staff and coordinate workflow across units.
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including space and personnel.
  • Handle correspondence and maintain high standards of clerical work.
  • Review and enhance administrative processes for improved efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate timesheet management.
  • Conduct reviews of quarterly reports for accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
