Medical Laboratory Technician Assistant

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $21,376 - $31,655 based on the U.S. average cost of living and industry standards.
About the Role:
The Medical Laboratory Technician Assistant will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens at the hospital and outpatient draw sites. They will also provide administrative support to technical staff as needed, while maintaining service excellence standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting blood and other specimens from patients
- Providing administrative support to technical staff
- Registering patients and specimens for lab testing
- Entering laboratory information system data
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy training course preferred
- 6 months of specifically related patient care/services experience preferred
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association within 1 month of hire
