Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our team. This role requires a high level of autonomy, with minimal weeknight call and one weekend per month on-call coverage.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain detailed patient history and perform physical or psychological examinations
  • Perform or order X-rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Administer therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care
  • Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures
  • Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care, and health maintenance
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Physician Assistant educational program
  • 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in specialty area being sought
  • Licensed with the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation with advanced certification by a national certifying organization recognized by the Vermont Nursing Board's scope of practice
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 based on industry standards and location.
