Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician I-III, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with daily operational functions and providing excellent patient care.

Job Summary

  • Assist pharmacists with medication delivery, processing orders, and performing code cart checks.
  • Maintain pharmacy and point of care inventory, including review of drug expiration dates and restocking shelves.
  • Prepare intravenous admixtures and perform billing/crediting tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.

Competitive Pay and Benefits

  • $16.60 - $27.23 per hour (dependent on level)
  • $4.25 - $8.00 differential rates for evenings and nights
  • $4.75 differential rate for weekends

The estimated salary range for this position is approximately $34,955 - $56,646 per year.
