We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in daily operational functions, including medication delivery, processing orders, and performing code cart checks. They will also monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory, prepare intravenous admixtures, and perform billing/crediting tasks.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred

You will need to possess effective written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be detail-oriented and demonstrate moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.

Additional Requirements (Level II)

For Level II technicians, we require one year of prior hospital pharmacy experience and advanced knowledge of pharmacy computer systems. You should also be able to effectively organize and prioritize tasks, anticipate needs of future shifts, and react accordingly.

Additional Requirements (Level III)

Level III technicians must hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) certification. Pay Ranges:

$16.60 - $24.65 (Pharm Tech I), $17.50 - $25.91 (Pharm Tech II), $18.35 - 27.23 (Pharm Tech III)
