COMPENSATION: $35,000 - $42,500 annually

REPORTS TO: Senior Facilities and Operations Manager


POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves close collaboration with our operations and sales teams, as well as other business units, to ensure the successful execution of events. The individual will be responsible for organizing major events, sponsored gatherings, and corporate functions, ensuring flawless execution in terms of facilities and operations while balancing hospitality and revenue generation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate event arrangements with appropriate oversight, including venue setup and breakdown, collaborating with teams to implement layouts, and providing ongoing support throughout events.
  • Assist in scheduling and communication across all operational aspects.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Meet regularly with supervisors to review performance and adjust goals as necessary based on current or anticipated conditions.
  • Support the assessment of event effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Identify strategies to enhance productivity, minimize costs, and elevate guest experiences.
  • Approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness, developing innovative solutions.
  • Ensure guests feel welcomed, safe, and valued throughout their experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.
  • Ability to obtain any required permits or licenses.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening is mandatory.
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace is essential.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with hospitality and event management standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact courteously with the public and foster effective working relationships.
  • Capability to follow directions and interpret various forms of instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability to changing work environments and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and convey professionalism.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The work environment typically involves an office setting, with occasional outdoor work. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required. Local travel may also be necessary.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing, bending, and lifting. The ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds is necessary.
