Position Title: Events Manager

Role Summary:

The Events Manager position offers a dynamic work environment, collaborating with international colleagues to design and implement a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with branding and core messaging across various market segments. Events play a vital role in the identity of Array Technologies, and we seek a proficient event coordinator to orchestrate engaging and impactful events that foster new business opportunities, enhance customer and stakeholder engagement, and reinforce our organization's distinctive culture. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, adeptly managing multiple components under pressure while addressing any last-minute changes or challenges with minimal disruption. Most importantly, they will possess a keen understanding of our organization's objectives and how events contribute to our overarching communications and marketing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a successful event strategy in partnership with global teams, encompassing trade shows, customer forums, technology showcases, and employee gatherings.
  • Oversee the management of event agencies, including setting objectives, budget planning, logistical direction, and event execution.
  • Ensure that event plans adhere to budgetary constraints and timelines while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Enhance understanding of target audiences through continuous analysis and reporting on data that influences Array's key customers, facilitating informed decisions regarding content and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing and communications team to optimize event promotion to key stakeholders through various channels, including email marketing, paid media, and web content.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel and work during evenings and weekends to support events.
  • Respond to participant feedback and adjust event strategies as necessary.
  • Evaluate and present the outcomes of event initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business event strategy and execution; familiarity with B2B technology products or services is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment across various functional teams.
  • Proficient in planning and executing projects with numerous moving parts.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in budget creation and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is a plus.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on detail.
  • Basic photo/video editing skills are a plus.
  • Creativity in developing both internal and external events.
  • Demonstrated understanding of attendee needs.
  • Willingness to delegate tasks and lead a team.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with external vendors and service providers.
  • Familiarity with current event trends and developments.
