COMPENSATION: $35,000 - $42,500 annually
HOURS OF WORK: Full-time

SUPERVISORY: No
REPORTS TO: Senior Facilities and Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: This role is integral to the success of our events, collaborating closely with both operations and sales teams. The individual will oversee the arrangements for significant events, corporate gatherings, and banquets, ensuring smooth execution related to facilities and operations while balancing hospitality and revenue generation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate arrangements under supervision concerning facilities and operations, including venue setup and support throughout events.
- Assist in scheduling communications for all event components.
- Address complaints swiftly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships through effective communication with diverse groups.
- Review progress with Supervisor to adjust goals based on current conditions.
- Support the evaluation of event effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Utilize strategies to enhance productivity, minimize costs, and elevate guest experiences.
- Approach challenges resourcefully, developing innovative solutions.
- Ensure a welcoming and efficient atmosphere for all guests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Must be able to obtain necessary permits as required.
- Pass a drug screening as a condition of employment.
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with hospitality and event standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work courteously with the public and foster effective working relationships.
- Capability to follow directions and interpret various instructions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Adaptability to changing work environments and demands.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Professional demeanor in all interactions.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment is primarily office-based, with occasional outdoor tasks. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required. Local travel may occur.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to sit for extended periods; occasionally required to stand, bend, lift, and carry items up to 25 pounds.
