Job Overview

Gravity Media is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Esports Channel Administrator to oversee the execution of daily operations across multiple Esports streaming channels, including Twitch and YouTube.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless channel operations, maintaining up-to-date branding, managing content, following established strategies, managing the channel schedule, assigning broadcasts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure channels are maintained, up-to-date, organized, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  1. User Management: Oversee the administration of user roles, including Chat Moderators and Channel Administrators, ensuring proper access and privileges across all Esports streaming channels.
  2. Channel Branding & Content Management: Manage the updating and implementation of channel artwork, emotes, thumbnails, and cards, ensuring that all new branding is applied promptly and outdated or generic branding is replaced as necessary, following the set branding guidelines.
  3. VOD (Video on Demand) Management: Organize and manage VOD content, including the application of metadata, descriptions, keywords, and thumbnails.
  4. VOD Organization & Maintenance: Ensure that VOD content is consistently updated and organized for easy access by the audience, including titles and metadata.
  5. Advertising Management: Monitor and ensure adherence to advertising Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on all streaming channels, keeping accurate records, as per the established protocols.
  6. Music Rights Management: Oversee the whitelisting of music tracks used in Esports streams, ensuring compliance with copyright regulations to avoid channel strikes or demonetization.
  7. Bot Management: Enable and disable bots on streaming channels as needed, ensuring that automated interactions align with channel policies and enhance the viewer experience.
  8. Access Control: Manage internal and external user access to channels, including adding and removing vendor access as required, and maintaining security protocols.
  9. Stream Key Management: Keep track of Twitch stream keys, rolling them periodically as needed, and ensuring all relevant parties are informed of updates to maintain broadcast continuity.
  10. Event Scheduling: Work closely with Live Broadcast Production teams to align on channel scheduling, maintaining a comprehensive schedule of all live events across all Riot channels, executing the pre-planned event strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing multiple streaming channels, particularly in the Esports industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Twitch, YouTube, and other streaming platforms, with a deep understanding of platform-specific tools, features, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with external partners and internal teams.
  • Experience with content management, including VODs, metadata, and thumbnails.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
