Job Overview

Catholic Charities Women's Recovery Program offers a voluntary, 3-6 month residential initiative designed for women addressing substance use disorders alongside co-occurring conditions. Our program facilitates referrals from various treatment centers and hospital units across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Participants benefit from the support of registered nurses and on-site psychiatric care, all aimed at fostering sobriety and stability.

We are in search of a Clinical Manager. This role entails overseeing the creation, execution, and assessment of all educational initiatives within the adult female residential treatment program focused on substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Clinical Manager will collaborate with the Program Director to establish and uphold program standards while providing both direct and group supervision to program counselors and case workers. This position is crucial for the delivery of all clinical services and educational sessions within the Women's Recovery home care model.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in a relevant field, with a preference for those holding a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor (LADC-1) certification. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in substance use/dependency treatment and familiarity with co-occurring disorders is essential. Knowledge of counseling techniques, the 12-Core Functions, and the 46 global criteria of the Substance Abuse Counselor is required, along with prior supervisory experience.

Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to produce clear and legible reports
  • Proficiency in computer software, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with clients, colleagues, and the community
