Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Services team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Mobile Crisis Unit Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic formulations, and treatment recommendations to clients in need of behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial comprehensive assessments of clients, including clinical interviews and contact with collateral providers, natural supports, and family members as necessary.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including client strengths, preferences, and behaviorally based goals and objectives.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed, and assess eligibility for services, medical necessity, and treatment preferences.
  • Document service delivery activities, complete consents, releases of information, and other required documentation in compliance with program standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and referrals to indicated services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field).
  • Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure.
  • Current valid US-issued driver's license and a registered, inspected, and insured automobile for work-related purposes.
  • Satisfactory CORI background check.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working in a clinical environment.
