Role Summary

The Aerospace Manager of Manufacturing & Supply Chain will spearhead the team dedicated to the production of sophisticated aerospace aftermarket components. This role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of experts in manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with the Product Engineering team to assess and approve specialized processes.
  • Develop and maintain a robust vendor network to support manufacturing needs.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Experience and Skills:

  • Over 12 years of experience in advanced aerospace hot section airfoil design, materials, and manufacturing methodologies.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the aerospace sector or a related manufacturing/repair environment.
  • A minimum of 8 years in team leadership or project management roles.
  • Expertise in jet engine materials and processing techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of jet engine airfoil component design and functionality.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and industrial specifications.
  • Experience with external supply chains, including advanced casting, machining, and coating vendors, both domestically and internationally.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive in driving project completion within set timelines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with a diverse workforce.
  • Trustworthy, quick to learn, innovative, and dependable.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
