Customer Service Specialist

Position Overview:
  • Handle a significant volume of incoming communications from clients, agents, and internal teams
  • Investigate and address client inquiries with discretion and insight
  • Proactively suggest solutions and alternatives to meet client requirements
  • Facilitate electronic payment processing and manage various billing operations
  • Acquire a fundamental understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance products
  • Engage with multiple systems to effectively address client requests
  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship and training to colleagues as necessary
  • Exhibit outstanding communication skills and professionalism in all interactions
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet objectives and work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Assist in evaluating new initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a professional customer service setting
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule during business hours
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a focus on active listening and responding to client needs
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinking, comprehension, and numerical skills
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization capabilities
  • Adaptability to change and proficient problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to resolve conflicts
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Exceptional skills in customer engagement and conflict resolution
