Position Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is in search of a Talent Acquisition Strategist to enhance our recruitment efforts. This role is pivotal in managing the complete recruitment process and requires a candidate who excels in multitasking, possesses strong organizational skills, and demonstrates a proactive mindset. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in sourcing both passive and active candidates, particularly within the cleared sector. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly assess candidates based on essential competencies and alignment with company culture.
  • Establish and nurture effective networks to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Oversee the management of employee referrals and candidate applications.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job specifications, develop pre-screening and interview questions, and address staffing challenges.
  • Innovatively source candidates through various channels including job boards, databases, networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct initial resume screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications for hiring manager consideration.
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring managers to align recruitment efforts with business needs.
  • Assist in proposal development by recruiting essential personnel and managing documentation.
  • Perform reference checks as part of the candidate evaluation process.
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting documentation requirements.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, primarily within the government services sector.
  • Experience in international recruitment practices.
  • Extensive background in recruiting across various skill sets and security clearances, including roles in facility management, logistics, and technical positions.
  • Strong knowledge of employment regulations and hiring practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with large groups of candidates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with various recruitment tools and resources.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid work model combining remote and office settings.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.
