Job Summary:

The successful candidate will serve as a HUMINT Targeting Officer (HTO) in support of activities for the identification, collection, and dissemination of foreign intelligence (FI), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber intelligence collected from overt HUMINT sources and by other means.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance to collectors on intelligence collection and report writing.
  • Review, coordinate, and approve the dissemination of sensitive raw intelligence.
  • Develop and author authoritative intelligence collection and reporting policies, procedures, and guidance for a national FI/CI collection program.
  • Develop, manage, and derive meaning from intelligence reporting use and evaluation metrics.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of complex foreign intelligence service modus operandi employed by foreign intelligence services.
Requirements:
  • Current TS/SCI + polygraph
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience supporting HUMINT activities identifying national security information sources
  • Experience collaborating with collection managers to identify critical information gaps, conduct CI/HUMINT Mission and Target Analysis, and perform OSINT and classified database research
  • Strong communication skills and well-developed time management and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and toolsets, and experience with manipulating large datasets using common data analysis and visualization software
