Job Title: Director Technology

As a key member of our leadership team, the Director Technology will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development and implementation of our technology roadmaps. This role will collaborate with leaders and peers to develop business strategies, engage with customers and business partners to align roadmaps and develop relationships to foster collaborations that will enable profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead an exceptional team to deliver new product development goals, optimize, implement, and execute technology roadmaps for speedy and smooth product development and commercialization.
  • Provide technical support to win new business.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the US Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense programs and acquisition procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with customers, business partners, and industry leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and trends in the industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.
  • 10+ years of relevant technical software engineering experience.
  • Advanced practical technical understanding of Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science with experiencing applying disciplines against large datasets and complex analytical challenges.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and operational concepts while interpreting, translating, and explaining detailed technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and understand complex technical and program interdependencies.
  • Possess a strategic mindset, linking technology and business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Typically 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree or higher in an Engineering or similar field of study.
  • Previous management experience; ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee staffing development and maintenance.
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, emphasizing rapid fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work across disciplines including programs and business development support.
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
