About the Role

Lumen Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to support the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Go-To-Market (GTM) & Operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize data from various sources to provide data-driven insights and support to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Build and maintain slide decks, reports, and dashboards to present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR on people planning, including workforce planning, location strategy, org structure management, and people metrics.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to the SVP's direct reports and other staff members to ensure alignment and execution of objectives.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that arise within the organization or affect the SVP's agenda.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape for the various products and segments that Lumen offers and serves.
  • Ensure the SVP is thoroughly prepared for all external and large internal meetings, manage necessary prep calls, and disseminate all materials to relevant parties.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and progress of the organization and the leader's goals and objectives, contributing to the development of new processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred, a master's degree is a plus.
  • 15+ years of general and relevant experience.
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a Chief of Staff role, preferably in the Technology or Telecommunications industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, go-to-market functions, product/product management, and/or marketing.
  • High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and adaptability, and the ability to handle ambiguity and navigate uncertainty.
  • Proven track record of success in an analyst role where executive priorities are translated into actionable plans that can be tracked.
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for products, technology, sales, marketing, and innovation with a customer-obsessed mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder management situations.
  • Attention to detail across a broad range of contexts and topics.
  • Experience with Business Operations and Planning, Business Transformation, and/or Management Consulting is a plus.
