Axient LLC seeks a Strategic Maritime Missile Intelligence Specialist to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) in a joint initiative analyzing the hardest military challenges facing the U.S. and our Allies. Key objectives include developing experiments to provide future warfighting architectures addressing these challenges through:

Transforming the warfighting paradigm from reliance on Service-specific and platform-centric forces to a disaggregated kill web capable of executing rapidly composable, joint, and all-domain kill chains.

Exploiting both existing and emerging technologies across the Services to address known capability gaps, opportunities, and threats.

The successful candidate will conduct mission-centric, multi-Service, and multi-domain analyses, modeling and simulation (M&S), and experimentation to inform research and development (R&D) and program of record recommendations.

A current TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recognize, identify, explore, and ensure the development, integration, and funding of new technology and capabilities to maintain U.S. technological superiority.
  2. Take a unified, missions-level view across the entire Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise to analyze joint missions and identify crosscutting technology gaps critical to military readiness.
  3. Maintain a focus on the innovative application of technology.
  4. Work with a robust network of transition partners within and external to the DoD to mitigate gaps through accelerated prototyping, demonstration, and fielding technologies.
  5. Transition relevant programs, processes, and technologies from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

Requirements:

  1. Required: BS in a scientific or technological discipline.
  2. Preferred: MS in a scientific or technological discipline.
  3. Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
  4. Must have the ability to work with cross-functional and joint teams to address capability assessments for operational and strategic problem sets.
  5. Individual shall be capable of processing multi-discipline intelligence to generate fused production, indications, and warning, and other threat analysis.
  6. Experience working with COCOMs is highly desirable, as is a network of active contacts within the intelligence community.
  7. It is also highly desirable that the individual have experience providing advice and briefing government leadership regarding critical political, military, or irregular warfare capabilities; experience with tracking, analysis, and reporting on the location and operations of assigned Vessels of Interest (VOI); experience with assessing information gaps, develop collection strategies, compose collection requirements, and provide feedback to collection managers; possess knowledge of Asia-Pacific intelligence operations, functions, and collaboration across SIPRNet and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS).
  8. Experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR and against a regional peer adversary is highly desired.
  9. A minimum of 15 years of experience as an all-source/maritime Intelligence analyst.
  10. Location: Oahu, Hawaii.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
