Job Summary

As a Certified Medical Assistant at Dartmouth Health, you will be an integral part of our Physician Practice team. Your role will involve supporting physicians and patients by providing quality, individualized care according to established standards. Your experience in an office or ER setting will be valuable in this position, where you will utilize accepted processes of care in interactions with patients, collect assessment data, and report progress to providers. Additionally, you will assist with procedures, perform simple lab tests, and maintain a clean and organized patient care environment. Responsibilities

• Utilize accepted processes of care in interactions with patients, to include documenting symptoms and vital signs, and responses to interventions, reporting progress to providers.
• Collect assessment data and report to provider or RN, per practice protocol.
• Assist physicians with procedures as requested and perform simple lab tests in the office.
• Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment, meeting all safety standards and inventory supplies and sterility/cleanliness of equipment.
• Document care and progress, completing appropriate charging documentation, per practice protocol.

Requirements

• 1 year's experience in an office or ER setting.
• Successful completion of a MA training or current EMTI certification.
• BLS certification.
• Area of Interest: Allied Health/Clinical.
• Work Status: as needed.
