Comprehensive Speech Therapy Services

The Clinical Communication Specialist provides a full range of speech therapy services, including assessments and therapeutic interventions for patients with communication disorders. With a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and required licensure, the specialist works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized therapy plans.

Salary and Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments and patient interviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
  • Provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current, valid state SLP licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Current valid CPR certification, preferred.
