We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Total Care Therapy in London, Ohio. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with clients and provide exceptional care.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting in evaluations, developing treatment plans, and conducting individual treatments as assigned by the Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluations and develop treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Conduct individual treatments as assigned, including exercises and activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and range of motion
  • Select and adapt physical therapy techniques and media based on client performance and consultation with the Physical Therapist
  • Maintain positive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, clients, and community personnel
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
