Regional Business Development Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Strategy Executive to join our team at Waggoner Engineering, Inc. in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and effectiveness within your assigned geographic market area.
Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, business development, and operations. You will lead a team of project managers and provide strategic guidance to drive business growth and profitability. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective business strategies, managing project budgets, and providing financial reporting to senior leadership.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of project managers to achieve sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals.
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely payment from clients.
- Provide financial reporting to senior leadership.
- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- At least ten years of experience in operating management in the consulting engineering environment.
- Strong business acumen and project management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of project managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
