This position reports to

Production Development Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will have the chance to enhance the Production organization's assembly techniques, methodologies, and apparatus to reduce labor hours in alignment with business strategies concerning quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Daily, you will ensure the implementation of suitable production techniques, cycle times, equipment performance, and materials/components to meet production objectives. You will also demonstrate your expertise by outlining the sequence of operations for a new production process to achieve the desired product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for this role is: onsite. This role contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and proposing enhancement opportunities and executing improvement projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, quality, and cost parameters.
• Approving designs for processes developed internally or externally and conducting final evaluations concerning the project.
• Supporting Production during the initiation of internal/external processes/equipment, formulating action plans, and training relevant maintenance and production personnel.
• Assessing new process technologies to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency, defining and leading testing initiatives, approval criteria, and selection of external providers.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 8 years of directly related experience
  • Experience in Project Management and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
  • Proficient in Autocad
