Position Title: Senior Electrical Automation Specialist

Department: Reagents/BD Diagnostics - Women's Health and Cancer

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Engagement with manufacturing machinery including filling, packaging, and sterilization systems.
  • Expertise in process control systems such as batch processing, SCADA, and MES.
  • Advanced skills in PLC and HMI programming.
  • Proficient in on-site troubleshooting and schematic interpretation.
  • Experience with vision systems like Keyence and Cognex.
  • Design and implementation of control systems utilizing servos and VFDs.
  • Knowledgeable in pneumatics, hydraulics, and resolving manufacturing challenges.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing statistical methodologies and experimental design.
  • Competent in executing BD processes and CAPA initiatives.
  • Skilled in Computer Aided Design and technical documentation.
  • High-level proficiency in software related to PLC diagnostics and programming.

Essential Skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage change and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations and ISO standards.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
