Position Title: Senior Electrical Automation Specialist
Department: Reagents/BD Diagnostics - Women's Health and Cancer
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement with manufacturing machinery including filling, packaging, and sterilization systems.
- Expertise in process control systems such as batch processing, SCADA, and MES.
- Advanced skills in PLC and HMI programming.
- Proficient in on-site troubleshooting and schematic interpretation.
- Experience with vision systems like Keyence and Cognex.
- Design and implementation of control systems utilizing servos and VFDs.
- Knowledgeable in pneumatics, hydraulics, and resolving manufacturing challenges.
- Familiarity with manufacturing statistical methodologies and experimental design.
- Competent in executing BD processes and CAPA initiatives.
- Skilled in Computer Aided Design and technical documentation.
- High-level proficiency in software related to PLC diagnostics and programming.
Essential Skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage change and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Understanding of FDA regulations and ISO standards.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
