We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Operations Planner to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, ensuring seamless fabrication operations, and driving efficiency across the board.
Key Responsibilities- Production Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules that meet the needs of our fabrication team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize fabrication processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall productivity.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment of materials.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, materials management, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Problem-Solving and Improvement: Identify and address production capacity issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Authorized to Work in the US: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Manufacturing Experience: 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production scheduling and process optimization.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and other applicable software, with strong Microsoft skills and experience with materials requirement planning (MRP).
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
