Job Description

Powers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Field staff and management of Powers Controls and Controls Service. This role will serve as the initial contact with customers, contractors, and vendors at the start of the Controls project, coordinating between Sales, Operations, and the customer to ensure each project is implemented to meet the expectations of all departments involved within Powers and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and vendors at the beginning of the Controls project.
  • Coordinate the project handoff to the Project Manager.
  • Track and manage the project submittal process, ensuring timely updates to all stakeholders.
  • Communicate key milestones, including submittals, order status, deliveries, and contractor/customer requests, to the customer, contractors, and project team.
  • Receive and coordinate service call requests, ensuring prompt attention to customer needs.
Additional Duties
  • Coordinate shipping and deliveries for operational staff.
  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers, Project Managers, and research teams as needed.
  • Prepare various reports and documents as requested.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer-related files.
  • Assist Project Managers with closeout documents and warranty letters.
  • Book service and construction projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or operations role.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in the HVAC industry is a plus, but not required.
