Job Summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) Intern to join our team as a Clinical Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the daily operations of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide non-clinical and clinical care to adult and pediatric patients, as delegated by licensed nurses and within the scope of practice.
  • Manage the daily operations of assigned areas, including staffing, throughput, patient concerns, staff concerns, room assignments, data collection, and process flow.
  • Follow expected workflows and processes for the delivery of non-clinical and clinical care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Provide a safe environment for patients, families, and coworkers, adhering to infection control policies.
  • Participate in the orientation of new team members and demonstrate professionalism.

Requirements

  • Acceptance letter from a School of Nursing.
  • Early Acute Stroke recognition and treatment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak, and hear.
  • Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff.
