As an Administrative Assistant with Compass Group, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our food service programs. This part-time position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to provide administrative support to our management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and assist with preparing employment and labor relations documents.
- Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
- Work effectively with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, and supervisors to maintain good working relationships.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of students eligible for free and reduced-priced lunches, if applicable.
- Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using a computer.
- Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation and process vendor invoices for payment.
- Prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement and assist in preparing end-of-month financial reports.
- Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
