Our client is a reputable General Contractor with a stable 25+ year history, specializing in retail and office construction. They offer a strong benefit package, including medical, dental, life and AD&D, 401K, and 3 weeks PTO, in a small collaborative office with a family-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly accounts payable and perform check runs
  • Track job costs and allocate expenses
  • Assist with account reconciliations and maintain project budgets
  • Create purchase orders and assist with subcontracts and change orders
  • Verify vendor checks
  • Provide backup support to the Controller
  • Interact with office staff, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Assist with job site needs, such as starting/stopping utilities and managing cell phones for superintendents and project managers
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc requests as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with Sage a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
