Job Overview

The Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the Front Office operations, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. This position requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational expertise to maximize room revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations at the Front Desk, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, following up to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop Front Desk staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct interviews and manage the hiring process for Front Desk personnel.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide training in line with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand and company training protocols.
  • Oversee payroll submissions and ensure accurate billing processes to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to maintain service excellence.
  • Manage cash handling processes and ensure adherence to financial protocols.
  • Coordinate emergency procedures and ensure staff are trained accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in hotel management.
  • Experience with Marriott systems is essential.
  • Proven supervisory skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in financial management and basic arithmetic.
