Key Responsibilities
As a Front Desk Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly to guest inquiries, issues, and requests, ensuring satisfaction and resolution.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing Front Desk staff in accordance with company standards.
- Conducting interviews and managing the hiring process for Front Desk personnel.
- Monitoring compliance with training protocols and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of staff hours for payroll purposes.
- Maximizing revenue through effective billing practices and monitoring no-show rates.
- Fostering open communication and professional relationships with all departments.
- Collaborating with the Accounting department on financial discrepancies and follow-ups.
- Ensuring all reservations are handled with care and professionalism.
- Implementing and upholding company policies and house rules.
- Coordinating the execution of emergency procedures for the Front Desk team.
- Maintaining an organized filing system for documentation and reports.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in hotel management.
- Previous experience with Marriott systems is essential.
- Strong supervisory skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in handling financial information and basic arithmetic.
- The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
