Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing services at the Pacific Campus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of nursing services across multiple units and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
    • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
  • Nursing Practice and Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of nursing services, including staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure that nursing practice is evidence-based and meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that nursing services are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Quality Improvement and Patient Safety
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce errors.
    • Ensure that patient safety is a top priority and that all nursing practices are aligned with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Human Resources and Talent Development
    • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing nursing team.
    • Ensure that all nursing staff receive the training and resources they need to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
  • Experience
    • 5 years of acute care experience required; experience as an administrative supervisor or director preferred.
  • Licensure
    • Washington state registered nurse license required.
