Hamdan Resources, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Executive to spearhead business development initiatives through sales efforts in a designated area. This role involves training sessions aimed at showcasing the advantages of Sumitomo products to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, end-users, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance sales performance in the region through strategic sales calls and promotional efforts, including distributor training, technical demonstrations, proposals, and market analysis tools.
- Formulate a comprehensive strategy to boost sales across existing and prospective accounts, aligning with Sumitomo's overarching growth objectives.
- Oversee follow-up activities related to sales, such as quotes, orders, deliveries, and returns.
- Conduct assessments of time management practices, including scheduling, email correspondence, voicemail, and reporting.
- Manage all business channels, both current and new, within the designated sales territory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in outside sales, specifically in a Business to Business (B2B) context.
- At least three (3) years of sales experience within the mechanical power transmission sector (e.g., Industrial Gear Boxes, Variable Speed Drives - Mechanical & Electrical, Industrial Electric Motors).
- Proven history of sales achievements, consistently exceeding targets and demonstrating revenue retention and growth.
- Must exhibit a proactive, engaging, self-motivated, and self-directed approach, with a strong record in sales/market planning, client relationship development, and the ability to overcome sales challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to adapt messaging to various audiences and convey competence and confidence.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in strategic selling methodologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Salesforce, and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50-75%) is necessary.
